University of Bedford

Education Presenting Partner

The University of Bedfordshire is an internationally recognised and award-winning institution with a heritage of quality education going back more than 100 years. They lead the way in expanding educational opportunity; with more than 40% of students coming from families with no history of participation in higher education. Around 70% are mature returners to education and over half are from ethnically diverse backgrounds, under-represented in higher education.

In addition to their role as a large employer and educator, the University is committed to working in partnership with the local area, boosting skills and productivity through knowledge exchange, skills provision, expertise in research and consultancy and also by associating themselves with many community organisations, projects and initiatives.

We’re proud to have University of Bedfordshire on board as the Education Presenting Partner of the Short Tail Trail!

“The University of Bedfordshire is extremely proud and excited to be the education sponsor for the ‘Short Tail Trail’. The role of Keech in supporting the communities of our county and beyond is key to the social and community responsibilities of the University. This project will bring together our work with primary, secondary and further education in promoting our civic values and partnerships within Luton, working towards higher education for all and the opportunities this can bring. We look forward to being a part of this amazing project which will bring an immersive experience of live art to the children, young people and families of Luton.”
