Our Hare is dark navy with light blue scrubs and a stethoscope to incorporate all the clinical teams (Palliative care support workers, Nurses, Paramedics and Doctors).
The candle on his chest represents how we aim to support patients and families in their darkest hour and how we honour those patients who have died by having a candle lit in their honour. The candle is held by hands of different tones to show our diversity within the team.
The leaves are from the trees which our rooms are named after and includes the Pasque flower which is a huge part of our history.
We have also included Percy the Pheasant who has been a regular visitor to our gardens and brings joy to visitors and staff alike.
