Mini Gus is a Galapagos Tortoise. He can live to more than 150 years old! He is one of the world’s many endangered species. There used to be over 250,000 of his kind living in the Galapagos Islands, but today that number has dwindled to approximately 17,000. Mini Gus is representing his species on the Luton trail to raise awareness of the plight of his kind in the wild.
