Fast as Lightning was inspired by the classic story of the Tortoise and the Hare. The hare represents speed – but just like lightning, that burst of energy strikes fast and is gone quickly.

“My aim is to transport the viewer to another time and place, allowing them to escape their everyday lives and find sanctuary within the artwork. To capture and bring us closer to the natural world.”
