We’re back!

Get ready to shellebrate our community! For 10 weeks this summer, we’re filling Luton with colour and energy once more as we release our loveable sculptures across the town.

We’re not strangers to the iconic Wild In Art trails (remember – The Big Trunk Trail in 2021?). The Short Tail Trail is our biggest trail yet and will feature 90 hares and tortoises. Both big and small, our beautifully-designed characters will be placed across Luton’s town centre and local parks, bringing our community together once again.

The Short Tail Trail starts on Saturday 6 July 2024 where all sculptures will parade into Luton – before hopping off on Thursday 12 September 2024.

We’re really excited to bring our second art trail to Luton – it’s going to be turtley awesome! Make sure you follow us on social media and sign up to our newsletter to see the latest. Get ready to #HopOnBoard and #TakeAShelfie!

All sculptures will be available to see one last time at a final farewell weekend from 27 September – 29 September 2024. After this, the legacy of The Short Tail Trail continues when the large sculptures are auctioned on Thursday 3 October 2024 to raise vital funds for Keech Hospice Care.
