Sculpture: La Dolce Vita

Shirley is a visual artist based in Dunlaoghaire, County Dublin.  Primarily inspired by the natural world her work is informed by the flora of the different places she visits. Having worked as a designer for the last couple of decades, the last few years have made it clear to Shirley that painting and drawing are what really resonate with her creative soul.

Shirley’s hare has been inspired by Aesops fable of the hare and the tortoise.  It will be painted with flowers, leaves and stars in a colourful graphic style – celebrating life. It invites you to be present, enjoy the world and nature around you.

Her designs reminds us to not “move so fast that you forget to stop and appreciate all the world has to offer!”
