“I loved being part of the Big Trunk Trail, creating my elephant, ‘Artie’, as well as 2 other elephants specially commissioned by Keech. The project was a joy from start to finish; working on my designs, bringing them to life in the shared painting space, seeing them out on the trail, working on the maintenance in preparation for the farewell events and attending the fantastic auction. My sculptures raised £13,000 towards the incredible work undertaken by Keech Hospice. I loved every second!”

“I have worked with Keech Hospice Care on the Big Trunk Trail, elephant and The Short Tail Trail, hare. It was very exciting unwrapping the hare, and I felt honoured to be trusted with the important task of painting this creature to life. It is great how this fun family-friendly art trail gives back to the local community, brings people together, whilst also raising awareness for Keech Hospice Care. The team at the hospice are knowledgeable, approachable, friendly, focused, and I would encourage anyone interested in The Short Tail Trail to reach out to them, ask questions and get involved!”
